As I look
back on my PE career (since 2001) with
some perspective, I'd have to say that
at least 90% of the girth gains I made (and
still make) came from pumping. Pumping
is the one consistent PE factor in
everything I've done, and the activity
I've used the most with continuous
commitment. I don't ever see the day
coming when I'd stop.

I'm pumping at least one hour/day for 3
days/week and occasionally four if time
permits. I have also gone for weeks when
I haven't pumped at all, but that's my
traditional schedule. If my dick ever
feels like it's pumped fatigued or it's
starting to be not as responsive to
pumping, then I just take several days
off and start again later.
I think one of the key factors in making
gains pumping is to keep the pressure in
the 3 - 5" hg range, depending on your
dick's tolerance for the different
pressures. I guess with your electric
pump, you could program it to cycle up
and down which would probably be very
advantageous for keeping good
circulation going. I started out doing
only 10 minute pumps and then gradually
worked my way up to a full hour of
pumping and more.
Sometimes pumping feels so good that a
guy wants to push the envelope and raise
the pressure. Even if you experiment
with higher pressure (in the 6 - 8"
range), be absolutely sure to make your
stay in this zone 30 seconds or less.
Otherwise, the likelihood of water
blisters is higher. Not fun. Girth gains
come about much better in the 3 - 5" hg
range. Sometimes a higher pressure can
be useful for length gains and
maximizing the dick stretch in the tube
(again be careful).

I have had a total change in pumping
philosophy since going to a low pressure
one hour (3X20 minute sets) routine.
Everything I do now is related to very
low trauma and totally restoring a
healthy look to my penis.
The maximum pressure that I now use is
4"hg and even at that pressure, I take
my time when pumping up by pausing at 2,
2.5, 3 and 3.5. I always use heat. But
the biggest change for me is I have
adopted peforeal's every other day
routine and in just a little over a
weeks time, my results have never been
better and I am confident I have a
routine I will be sticking with for a
long time.
If anyone has read my previous posts,
they will know I have often called an
every other day schedule the worst PE
schedule going. But when doing PE for a
hour at a time, I just couldn't keep up
with doing PE several days in a row
without suffering negative effects. So
now it is every other day for me. I
still think that for guys that do PE for
say 15 to 30 minutes a day you do get
best results going for several days in a
row. But for extended routines, it's
looking very good for an every other day
schedule.
Right now I am going to try and pump
pretty much everyday. I'm a newbie
though, but I've read a lot, and I think
my dick is pretty strong. I think I'm a
hard-gainer and pretty much need to be
in an expanded pumped state everyday in
order for me to see gains. Granted I
haven't tried any routine like 1 day on
and 1 day off or 1 day on and 2 days
off, but in my head, I just do not see
that type of routine working for me.
I say as long as you're not gettin lymph
build-up, you should be able to pump
everyday. In my case, I am a newbie and
can pump for 15 minutes at 4-5 HG and I
don't get any lymph buildup at all.

I am testing the less is more approach
by doing 1 on 2 off. Too soon to report
anything but it worked/works for a
couple of my team members. I will report
any gains in either length or girth.
The routine I am following consists of;
5min rice sock warm up, 100 pulsating
stretches (nothing magic, just stretch,
relax for 1sec and stretch again, kind
of like JAI-stretches) and 3 rotary
stretches to each side with a vacuum
head piece for grip aid, 3 x 15min
pumping sets at 4HG with a heated tube
and 50 jelqs between sets.
I made this routine based of the results
of my team members and the advice of
gprent. Also, the electric heating pad
around the tube, (thanks again gprent!),
makes the whole session very enjoyable.
(Can`t believe I just discovered
pumping!)

I took today off pumping as I had pumped
for the last 14 days. I wanted to pump
and felt up for it but thought I should
take 1 or 2 days off.
I think I will try a 3 on 1 off schedule
from now on.
Unlike giveme9 I do get fluid build up
when I pump for longer than 10 minute
sets which is a shame so I do 4 x 10
minutes at 4hg.
giveme9, I also asked about not heating
for the last 1/2 of the last set because
of something I read a long time ago from
BIB regarding heat and hanging.
brianrex, for me using higher HG
6-8 in 2004/5 gave me little red dots
which led to discolouration. I got rid
of about 85% of it by using topical
hydro-cortisone cream.
Higher HG also caused a vein to swell up
which took a long time to massage down
again each time.
So far pumping at 4 HG has not caused
that vein to swell up again.
I did gain from using the higher HG but
lost it all when I stopped due to
injury, whether or not pumping at lower
HG will give me growth is to be seen.

Babbis, I also warm up with a rice sock,
I prefer it to my heat pad.
I warm my thickwall cylinder up on my
radiator for about 20 minutes before
use. But it does not stay warm for long.
I know you told me you use a LAPdist
cylinder, how do you heat it?

I too am following the "less is more"
approach and have gained significantly
from it. Although my pumping routine
isnt all that strict, I bascially stick
to a 1 on 2 off or 2 on and 2-3 off. For
a breakdown of my routine take a look at
my 4 month growth comparison pics. I go
into pretty good detail about my routine
and all thats involved. Just remember,
everyone is different. Just because Ive
gained with little effort and plenty of
rest, this may not work for everyone but
its worth a shot and IPR has been proven
successful among many.

All of this discussion is very helpful
as I sort it out, but one piece of
information that very few people share
is how many times a day they pump on the
days they pump. For example, I have
adopted the less than 5hg pump as it
makes the most sense to me based on
everything I have been reading. But how
often during a day do you pump?
Yesterday I pumped four times for 8-10
minutes each time followed by low to
moderate jelqing - on average 50 wet
jelq strokes each time - followed by a
warm down with pretty warm water. Each
pump, btw, was preceded by a "pretty
warm" warm-water dip for 3-5 minutes. If
I could, I would pump more often during
the day, but it could be awkward at
work. <G> I am still also trying to
determine how many days a week to rest
or if I need to rest. I know at 58, the
rest helps everything, but when I was a
teen and through my 20's, it seemed like
I was walking around with some form of
erection all the time. Maybe that's what
made everything work so well. While I
would like growth gains, they are
secondary to my desire to clean out and
restore my penile plumbing so to speak,
so that I can develop and SUSTAIN a good
solid erection. It can be huge, but if
it doesn't work when you need it or want
it to work, what's the point? Donquixote

I pump about 3 times a week regularly. I
go at least one hour and sometimes more
keeping the pressure below in the 3-5"
hg range. If I pump substantially more
often than that, I think my dick gets
less responsive to the effectiveness of
the pumping. From experience, I think
that pumping 7 days a week is overkill
and won't help significantly in making
more gains.

Presently I am doing 5 minute warmup
(microwavable heat pad-basically a big
rice sock)
10 minutes stretching from different
angles.
10 minutes pump at 4-5
10 minutes jelquing
10 minutes pumpiing
10 minutes jelquing
10 minutes kegels.
I do this 4 times per week: T, Th, Sat,
Sun.
I am going to add the electric heat pad
during pumping. Sounds delicious!

I am back to pumping since I have less
time for PE this period.
My routine is: -Enter the tube erect
with monkeybars constriction sleeve + a
piece of his silicone sleeves to overlap
so all my foreskin is compressed.
- Pump to 4HG and keep it there for
15min.
- Release the pressure and lightly
massage my shaft, work up to a erection
again and repeat.
I pre heat the cylinder in the oven at
about 80-100C degrees (if I have the
privacy and the time.) and wrap the
cylinder with my electric heating pad
(again, if I have the privacy). I go for
4 sets of 15min every time (last time I
tried 5 sets but found it a bit too
much) and usually take the constriction
sleeve off for the last set.
Frequency is Mon, Wed, Fri.
That is it, no stretching, no jelqing,
just some massaging and heat-pumping!
Tonight I will try some edging and
ballooning-massaging between sets since
people are reporting good results from
this these days.
Will update as time goes by.
